In MySims Agents players take on the role of a special agent on a mission to uncover and foil the sinister plans of Morcubus, the corrupt CEO of MorcuCorp. Players will search for clues and solve cases across the city and far beyond as they piece together his nefarious plans.

Armed with a set of increasingly sophisticated gadgets, players will track footprints, pick locks, hack into computers and do molecular forensics.

They will jump, climb, balance and build their way to follow cases no matter where they lead, even taking a private jet to reach an ancient temple, a spooky mansion and an icy mountaintop chalet. Along the way they meet MySims they can recruit to build up their own team of agents, and unlock rare items they can use to deck out their headquarters.

This departure from the standard MySims gameplay makes for a welcome change. The amount of social interaction with other Sims, which was a big part of previous games, is reduced to merely talking with them about the particulars of a case. 7.5 / 10
In Agents, you have several tasks. Your primary goal is to take your created character to the tippity-top of the spy business and it isn't long before you own an entire building and have to run it. To that end, you recruit more agents -- Sims you meet in your adventures -- and then dispatch them as teams to solve various other crimes that transpire while you investigate the big missions. 7.8 / 10
It doesn't matter what the ultimate goal is for any specific case; whether you're trying to prove a framed Yeti's innocence or discover what electrical source is killing nearby plants, all solutions come through a slightly different order and quantity of the exact same procedures. This doesn't make the MySims: Agents terrible, but it does make it way too repetitive and predictable. C+
