The biggest draw card of The Sims 2 Bon Voyage, is that your Sims can now go on Vacation. Here is a quick guide on how to make the most out of your Vacations!
Cost - How much are your airfairs going to cost you?
Duration - How long do you want to go on Vacation
Work/School - Luckily your Sims wont miss work or school. They also wont loose any accumulated vacation days.
Aging - Sims wont age on vacation. When the return they have exactly the same amount of days as when they left.
Who can travel - Babies, Toddlers and Pets cannot travel. If you do not leave someone at home to supervice them you will be required to hie a nanny. This will cost §200 upfront.
Travel Parties - You may only take a maximun of 8 people per travel party. This can include anyone in your household or even freinds.
Saving - When on vacation you will need to return to your "Home Base" before saving.
Time Unlike a community Lot, Sims Time on vacation will still move. If you Sim leaves at 10am and returns at 4pm, the time we will return on the vacation lot is 4pm. This is critical for hotel check-in times. If you pass noon, when your Sim must check out, upon returning to your Hotel, a notice will appear saying that the Hotel has taken the liberty of charging you for an additional day. If your on your last day, you will be returned to the home lot automatically.
Booking You are able to book your vacation by using a telephone or on the computer.

Resorts The following pre-made vacation resorts are available.
- Far East (Takemizu Village) - Island (Twikkii Island) - Mountain (Three Lakes)
Custom Resorts are also available to build, although you CANNOT own then (OFB)
Honeymoon Sims can now go on a traditional Honeymoon. Your Sims must make the bookings for their Honey-Moon before they get married, if they dont, nothing will happen. Because you do not know when the wedding will happen, the honeymoon can not be booked for. You therefore proceed with the wedding, and after your wedding a message will appear saying your pool car is en route. You will still need to make any arrangements for children and pets - if you have any.
