Sim Genes Print
Just like in the real world, you Sims have Genes which are passed on from the parents of the child. The only way to avoid the game choosing the gene is in Create a Sim were the player has full control of what their Sims are going to look like.

We have compiled a quick guide to geting the most out of the Gene pool.

Dominant -VS - Recessive

If your Sim has a Dominant Gene and the other Sim has a Recessive Gene then the child will get the gene of the Dominant Parent

Recessive
If both Sims have a Recessive Genes, then the chance of getting the gene is 50% for both the Genes

Dominant
If both Sims have a Dominant Genes, then the chance of getting the gene is 50% for both the Genes

Hair Color Eye Color
Brown : Dominant
Black : Dominant
Blonde : Recessive
Red : Recessive
Brown : Dominant
Dark Blue : Dominant
Gray : Recessive
Blue : Recessive
Green : Recessive

Note: Colour selection also depends on the grandparents, as genes are passed down from generation to generation.
Custom hair will always lie in the 50% range, although it mostly leans towards the Dominant Hair range

Double S
If your Sims are both S2, Then their child will be S2

Different S
If your Sim is S1 and your other Sim is S3, then their child will either be S1, S2 or S3 with the middle value having a higher percentage.
For example, the S1 will have a 20%, the S2 will have 60% and the S3 will have 20% - just like with Hair and Eye's the game will select this upon creation of the baby. The only way to avoid the game choosing the gene is in Create a Sim were the player has full control of what their Sims are going to look like.

The table below reflects the chance of the child acquiring the parents features.
