A new patch has been released that addresses the Error 16 problem, which was encountered after installing the V 1.6.6 Patch for The Sims 3 - after which users would start experiencing problems when saving their games. To fix this problem, a follow up patch has been released, which can be downloaded through your Sims 3 Game Launcher! This will now update your game to V 1.7 / 2.2
