Sims 3 Sells 4.5 Million Units

When NPD stats for 2009 were released, they did not include the sales units for The Sims 3.
However in a recent press conference EA disclosed to GameSpot that The Sims 3 has in fact sold 4.5 million units - quite an amazing achievement!
