Bart Smit Confirms Sims 3 Hobbies Expansion

Dutch site Sim Planet 2 has been in contact with their local Bart Smit, and according to the consultant, the listing of the Hobbies and Professions expansion is supposedly correct in their upcoming games list. Apparently the game is set for release around 4 June 2010.

Disclaimer: Even though this consultant has confirmed the game, until we can get more information - please consider this a rumor!

TechNick January 26, 2010 Votes: +3	Oh god, say it ain't so! I really didn't like FreeTime all that much, I don't feel that it added much new content other than items. The whole "secret hobby area" thing just didn't seem to cut it for me as a new feature. I felt as if it was meant to be a Stuff pack but they re-branded it as an expansion so they could charge a higher price. The "and Professions" aspect is what is keeping me hopeful. Open for Business was by far my favorite pack. The whole idea of my sims running businesses was great. It was fun to see how the other sims would react to my stores and built items. I'm not sure, but I really hope the "Professions" side of this pack ends up being along the lines of Open for Business. The only other possibility would be new jobs, although I don't think they would include that as part of the name if that was the case.
