EA has released a new Sims 3 patch, updating your game to

The Sims 3 - 1.10
World Adventures - 2.5
High-End Loft Stuff - 3.1

This game update includes:

Fixes issues with the Input Method Editor for players on the Japanese SKU. Also addresses some functionality errors in the launcher.

Fixes a bug that prevents collectible Beetles from showing up in game.

Fixes a bug that causes Sims to teleport off of some of the new beds in SP01.

Fixes crashes and stalls when multiple patches are being installed.

To update your game, load the game launcher - you will be prompted to update.
Please read the following information on The Sims 3 regarding new update specifications if you are already not aware of them from the previous update.

Also just a patch warning, although not endorsed by EA - it has come from personal experience that you wait a few days before updating your game to the latest version, if any major bugs appear, we will post it on the site.
The recommended period is 1 week, but judge at your own discretion! Again, this is from personal experience and NOT endorsed by EA.
